Coming In 2025:
Why was Puss in Boots afraid of marrying Kitty? Is it because he decided that being a husband was too much responsibility or what? I'm asking because in the movie (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) it probably wasn't explained in detail.

So ChilyChivy is known for discussing animated movies and he is mostly pessimistic because of the disappointments of late sequels like Kung Fu Panda 4 and Despicable Me 4. Also that the crew that made Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is not same as the one making this movie.

Smarty Pants is mostly excited but cautiously optimistic because the Shrek franchise has not been concluded properly but he is a bit doubtful of the screenwriter because of his filmography. He also expresses deep annoyance to people complaining about sequels.
I personally strongly agree with Smarty Pant's views and respectfully disagree with ChilyChivy. The latter did make an overall positive review on Kung Fu Panda 4 but labelled it as an average okay movie and Chameleon as a villain that just exists. I know a lot of people think that but I personally think its a great movie and Chameleon is a great villain. KFP4 actually surprised me because I had very low expectations and I was not disappointed. I really liked the way the movie developed Po's character from dragon warrior to spiritual leader and it is leading the movie in a fresh new direction instead of just repeating the same formula of Po and Furious Five facing another villain. So I think even Shrek 5 would not be that much unnecessary because similar to Kung Fu Panda which originally was supposed to have 6 movies, Shrek was also supposed to have 5. Shrek Forever After is an underrated gem but since it was an alternate reality thing, it did not feel like a proper conclusion.
I agree a lot with Smarty Pant's views on sequels. Yes, I would strongly discourage milking franchises for profit but seeing it from a financial perspective, its the only guaranteed success for studios, especially animated ones. He cites examples of how original movies like Wish flopped, Elemental initially flopped, Strange World and so on and they lost Disney a great deal of money so they are reviving sequels. DreamWorks had one of their biggest flops with Ruby Gillman. Illumination broke records with Mario movie which is not a sequel but a major brand but Migration initially flopped. Even critically hit animated movies like Bad Guys and TMNT: Mutant Mayhem were barely successful. I love the way he says "So what a studio is supposed to loose money over and over and over again until they finally succeed ?"
I don't know, I saw cast, so Can Shrek 5 without Puss in Boots?
This is very disputed! The Little Mermaid appeared as a cameo in beginning of Shrek 2, but she can appear with her bigger role than Shrek 2? Alice could appear in Shrek 5 (similar to Puss In Boots 2), Mowgli and his wolf parents unlikely will appear in Shrek 5 (because The Jungle Book is falsely considered to be fairy tale). Do you think, I want to see :)
From the beginning there were meant to be five Shrek movies but after the backlash to 3 they scrapped 5 and made 4 the last one, now after all these years 5 is finally happening
What the original script was it involved showing shrek's origins and how he came to be in the swamp. It was meant to show his parents and where exactly he came from. I kind of hope they bring this plot back this time since almost nothing is known about his family life except that his father tried to eat him. His father could end up being the new villain or at least an anti hero if they decide to show Shrek's Past

I know he was seen as the weakest villain of the movies, but his fate was left unconfirmed. I think he had more potential, despite being seen as a buffoon he was legitimately serious in Shrek 3 and almost won in the end
He was meant to appear in Shrek 4 in the alternate universe but the idea was scrapped, so I hope maybe they could show what happened to him in this. Even if it would be just a cameo

Is it just me (am I weird af) or does it seem kinda sad that they don't use Fiona's human form as much. Like I can think of a lot of weird plot lines to make more stories, but I know they (dreamworks) won't focus on it?
Is there gonna be a shrek 5, or is there already a shrek 5? is there shrek 6 or-
What if Prince Charming did successfully rescue Fiona on the Tower, before Shrek did? How would the events of their story go? What do you think would their relationship be like?
In this scenario, Fiona never met Shrek nor Donkey, only Charming.
