From the 5 logo to the cast announcement teaser they look identical don’t you think that in 2024 shrek 5 was too early for that announcement

Spider man voiced by Tom Holland was in the Avengers movies and his girlfriend MJ voiced by Zendaya in which will voice Felicia Shrek’s daughter might be on a very busy schedule working with Tom holland as spider man on Avenger’s Doomsday since Zendaya also currently voiced his Girlfriend MJ and Tom holland voiced spider man so

The Script is being written still and when you look at the fact that the film is delayed to June 30 2027 let’s just do some math right here because

2024 Shrek 5 sends an announcement for July 1 2026 even after the film was in its early stages this is how you know a 5th film is going to happen

Jan 2025 the film delayed to December 2026 this was when the cast was signed to make the film a teaser was released in February the cast then took a break until the film was fully written

In August 2025 the film was delayed for a second time to June 30 2027

In October 2025 it was revealed that the film was still in pre production and here is why

Things can change on Shrek 5 production for a better charm meaning that we don’t know what the film will be like

after the script is finished the cast will be updated and will start a production date that could happen sometime around 2026 (maybe sooner) meaning that 2026 maybe could be the year of Shrek after all

And finally post production the part where anything could be edited

So there you go standby for updates on Shrek 5 by 2026(maybe sooner)

Where the Holy Mother Onions are Fergus and Farkle in Shrek 5!? It's one thing if they haven't cast them yet, but you can't properly have Felicia without her brothers! I'm not saying it because I like her brothers more, I just think they're a package deal. You can't have just ONE of them, you need all 3! I understand if they just don't have VAs yet. That's one thing. That's fine. But if they're just omitting Fergus and Farkle entirely, that's where I take issue. Heck, I don't even think they need huge roles, but to be entirely absent!? At least mention Shrek and Fiona's sons!

So over the past couple months, many people have been posting their personal predictions for Shrek 5, so I have my list of predictions:

1 - It will have the same art style as Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and The Wild Robot for having an CG painterly style.

2 - Prince Charming and Rumpelstiltskin have a potential to return with Lord Faraquaad and Death having cameos in it, and Rumpel's voice actor is the director.

3 - An potential return of Pied Piper.

4 - Many people just want the Ogre Triplets to age up as like they said, and there was a rumor that a MCU actress will voice the grown-up Felicia.

5 - Kitty Softpaws and Perrito have a potential return because in the post-credits scene of Last Wish, Puss comes back to Far Far Away after stealing the governor's ship.

6 - New fairy tale characters in this movie.

7 - This will be the last film of the franchise because there was a original plan of 5-film series, so let's hope this will be the final one.
