Alligator Pastor is a minor character who only appears in the book Shrek!. At the end of the story, he as the wedding officiant for Shrek and the Princess. He's also the one character to not be featured in the film adaptation; or get a later representation similar to the fortune teller in the films.

Trivia

• His role was replaced by the Bishop at the end of the first Shrek film.
• Contray to a popular viral meme, the book didn't say anything about Shrek hiring the alligator because of God refusing to ordain Shrek's marriage for being ugly.
