Boots Motel is a story told by Donkey and Puss in the Halloween special, Scared Shrekless.
It is a parody of the horror franchise film Psycho.
Scared Shrekless[]
In Scared Shrekless, in Donkey and Puss' story, they seek shelter a place called Boots Motel. The owner of the motel is Granny Charming (an old lady who is eventually revealed to actually be Prince Charming in disguise). There is also a giant waffle who lives there. Charming tries to kill Puss with his deceased mother, Fairy Godmother's magic wand, and the giant waffle tries to eat Donkey.
Trivia[]
- The famous opening theme from Psycho plays throughout the entire story. It is especially noticeable when Donkey is running away from the giant waffle.
