Buck is a character who briefly appeared in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. He is from the classic adventure novel, The Call of the Wild.

In one of the storybook animations, Buck is shown pulling a sled being ridden by his abusive owner, Hal. The sled rider quickly loses control as the dog's strength along with the other dogs is too much for him to handle.
Various trivia questions and games reference Buck's story. The most prominent being his tragic past of being kidnapped by the Klondike and moved to Alaska. Throughout his journey, he was abused and forced fend for himself, thus developing his deadly strength. In the end, Buck retreats to the wild to live with the wolves.
