Cinderella’s Former House was the house of Cinderella, Doris and Mabel before Cinderella went to live in her castle.
It was only seen a handful of times through paintings and illustrations. Often depicting Cinderella in her ragged clothes while performing household chores.
The first instance was in Shrek during her introduction to Lord Farquaad by the Magic Mirror. It is seen in the background of Cinderella’s “Before” picture in the Fairy Godmother's Cottage in Shrek 2.
The home also makes an appearance in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. In one of the storybook animations, the Prince is putting on Cinderella's glass slipper. He struggles at first, but he is successful in making it fit. A tapestry depicting two illustrated birds in front of a swirled laurel pattern.
