Death's sickles are a pair of weapons owned and wielded by Death himself. They are his signature weapons and his tools for collecting the souls of the deceased, and, on occasion, his weapons of choice for killing those whom he judged as undeserving of their lives. He almost used them for that with Puss in Boots, for squandering eight of his nine lives and boasting that he (Puss) "laughs in the face of death".

The Sickles are a matching pair, appearing as curved blades with handles that fold inward to the blades' cruxes when not in use. The handles can be connected at their pommels and extended to join the weapons together into a double-ended glaive, as Death revealed in his final duel with Puss. It is presumed that they can also summon red flames, also shown in the final duel. Although whether that is the case is currently unconfirmed.
One of the sickles also has eight X-ed out cat heads engraved onto it, with each marking representing the lives Puss has lost.
