Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular (or Donkey’s Caroling Christmas-tacular) is a 2010 American computer-animated direct-to-DVD musical holiday short.
It tells the story of Donkey's Christmas holiday with his family and friends.
Synopsis[]
This short animation film takes place in the Candy Apple, the friendly version of the Poison Apple. Donkey is excited for everyone to sing Christmas carols, with Shrek surprisingly confirming the possibility of him singing. Donkey sings "It's the Most Wonderful Time" with his fairy tale friends. Before he can sing another tune, Shrek, Princess Fiona, the Ogre children, and army of ogres sing an ogre version of "Jingle Bells" (containing lyrics such as "Bug Cocoon, Lick the spoon. Try our cricket slurp"). Puss in Boots then sings "Feliz Navidad" in a new rendition titled "Fleas Navidad,” claiming it to be a classic song from his village. In the finale, everyone sings "Fairy Tale Rock,” a rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock.” During the short, various subplots are shown, such as Gingy trying to save inanimate gingerbread people, the Three Little Pigs getting ready for "swimsuit weather," and Rumpelstiltskin being trapped in a cage.
