The Dove is a type of bird seen in Shrek 2. While flying, it got distracted when Shrek and Fiona presented themselves to King Harold and Queen Lillian. As a result, the dove crashed into a wall, and fell to its death. The others of its kind are alive since they flew away safely.
One dove later appears at the end of Shrek 2 during Far Far Away Idol to fly down the winning vote to Simon Cowell.
