The Duloc Mascot is a citizen of Duloc. He makes his first and only appearance in Shrek.
Shrek[]
The Duloc Mascot works at the front gates of Duloc and wears a giant bobblehead of Lord Farquaad's likeness. He is frightened at the sight of Shrek and runs away, only to knock himself out by running into a wall. He is later seen attending Shrek and Fiona's wedding, falling down after attempting to do the limbo.
Shrek the Musical[]
He would make his first appearance in eight years in the musical adaptation of the first film. He only appears on-stage to scream and run off in the Broadway version and all subsequent productions. However, he had a slightly larger presence in the preliminary production where he kept tripping and falling due to the large head. After feeling the immense pain, he yells "Oh, my God! WHY!?!" several times before limping off-stage.
Trivia[]
- The action figure of him from McFarlane Toys bears a resemblance to his voice actor, Andrew Adamson, who was also the director of Shrek.
- The mascot head is Lord Farquaad's special item and token in DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing. It is also called "Farquaad's Giant Head."
