Dwarf (race)

Dwarfs are crafty people who live in mines or forests. They are very small, stout, and almost always male. They also generally have facial hair and large features such as overgrown noses and ears.

In the past Dwarfs were one of the most common races in the Shrek universe. However, their numbers declined with the rise of Humans to the point where they were classified by Lord Farquaad as "fairytale creatures".

Many dwarfs besides the Seven Dwarfs were seen in Shrek's swamp during the fairy tale removal.
