Ebenezer Scrooge as he appears in "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales"
Ebenezer Scrooge is a character who briefly appeared in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. He is from the classic holiday story, A Christmas Carol.
Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales[]
In one of the storybook animations, Ebenezer Scrooge is in his chamber trying to sleep. Suddenly, a hooded figure emerges from out of nowhere, pointing at the old miser with a creepy voice. Fearful, Scrooge latches onto his sheets and shivers.
As the story goes, he is an old miser who hated Christmas and was despised by most of his hometown. After a visit from four ghosts (counting Jacob Marley), he awakes on Christmas Day a new man. He even buys a giant turkey for the Cratchit family to make up for his mistreatment towards Bob Cratchit. People from his past are also mentioned in the game, including his old boss, Fezziwig.
Trivia[]
- In Shrek the Halls, when Shrek kicks Donkey and the fairytale creatures out of his house, Donkey calls him "Ebenezer Shrek!" This is followed by Shrek saying "And a Ba-Humbug to you too!"
