Eros is the Greek god of love, and has a small presence in some Shrek media.

Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales[]

Eros is mentioned throughout the DVD game. He is a major player in the Myth of Apollo, where he strikes the god Apollo with one of his arrows. As a result, he falls in love with the nymph, Daphne. Unfortunately, Eros also struck Daphne, but with an arrow that makes her detest Apollo. This leads to the main events of the myth, which ends with Daphne turning herself into a laurel tree to avoid Apollo's advances.

Eros is also the son of the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, who has a major physical presence in the DVD game.
