The Eviction of the Fairytale Creatures is an event that took place in the woods to arrest any fairytale characters from Duloc and send them to Shrek's swamp.
Background[]
While we do not know what Lord Farquaad has against fairytale characters, since his backstory in Shrek the Musical can be considered its own canon-- it can be assumed he either has a bad experience with them, or a simple prejudice fueled by "perfection" for an all-human society.
When they were dumped at the swamp, the ogre who lives there, named Shrek, goes to Duloc with Donkey to complain.
