Fairies are a type of creature in the Shrek universe.
They are humanistic looking creatures with insect wings who are typically small in size, though some can be human-sized. Fairies often sparkle with light and are able to wield specific types of magic.
Most known full fairies are female, with the exception of Roy the Save Fairy (though the games are likely non canon to the films).
