Fergus, Farkle and Felicia are Shrek and Fiona's triplet children. They appear in Shrek the Third, Shrek the Halls, Shrek Forever After, and Scared Shrekless.

Shrek the Third

In the beginning of the film, Fiona brings up the idea of Shrek and her starting a family. Shrek quickly dismisses it, pointing out that babies are a lot of work. As Shrek is leaving for his journey to get Artie, Fiona reveals to Shrek that she is pregnant. Shrek is shocked and has nightmares of being a father, not being able to protect them from various hazards. His relationship with his own abusive father causes him to worry that he will be the same kind of father he had. At the end of the film Fiona gives birth to them and appeared in the credits along with Donkey and Puss.

Felicia: She only appears at the end of the film when she is born with her siblings.

Fergus: When Shrek dreams of being a father he enters his swamp house after listening to Fiona but he does not see anyone but Fergus who was in a baby stroller. start to see Fergus everywhere like in his bed, his cooking pot, his lamp, his sofa, etc. Then comes a kind of tsunami of cheap copies of Fergus that hunts down Shrek, but he manages to get out of the house only to find an party of thank from the Fergus copies. and Shrek awakens.

He later appears at the end when Shrek and Fiona return to their swamp and raise him with his siblings.

Farkle: Appears when Shrek wakes up Donkey and Puss, then appears in Donkey's face saying "Dada".

Then he appears at the end of the film being raised by his parents with his siblings.

Shrek Forever After

A big party is held in celebration of the triplets' birthday and everyone is invited. But Shrek got a little mad because everyone now saw ogres as cute and nice creatures, and when he got enough of that he slammed their cake and went mad outside. When in the alternate universe of Rumpelstiltskin they have been mentioned sometimes but only Felicia's doll was seen.

At the end of the film, Shrek got back before he slammed the cake and happily celebrated the children's birthday.

Felicia: She wakes up her parents with this doll and she and sees her during the movie's intro scenes.

Later in the ogre triplets' birthday party, Shrek takes away Felicia's doll because she was bothering him while was talking to Donkey, because she was in Fiona's arms playing with her doll and she tried to play with Shrek.

Later when Shrek goes back to his old life after staying in the alternate version of Far Far Away, he returns the toy to Felicia and she says "Thank you Daddy".

Fergus: He appears in the movie intro, with him and his brothers interrupting Shrek as he tried to make a real ogre again.

Later in his birthday party, Fergus lies in Shrek's arms and then Fiona takes it when she tells Shrek to go get the cake and not forget the candles. The Three Little Pigs eat the cake and Fergus gets mad because there is none and roars. As Fergus roars, Felicia and Farkle cry which makes Shrek worse and he roars.

When Shrek wakes up and regains his old life, he has his children and his true love again.

Farkle: Farkle appears waking up his parents along with his siblings.

Then at his birthday party he is seen walking in the middle of his parents when Pinocchio sings party already and when Fergus roars he is seen crawling on top of the table.

When Shrek returns from alternate reality he is seen sitting at the table with his brothers.

Scared Shrekless

Fiona and the ogre triplets go out to terrify some trick-or-treaters while Shrek, Donkey, Puss and the other fairy tale creatures travel to Duloc to tell scary stories.

They are normal babies, being destructive and developing their motor skills. They get along well with the Dronkeys and have various play dates with them. Additionally, they where very noisy, messy, and high-maintenance, making Shrek miss his former life of solitude. Later, though, Shrek missed having them around in the alternate timeline, and when he restored the timeline, he learned how much they loved him. When Shrek roared on their birthday, they started yelling 'rawr' at each other playfully and when Shrek trumpeted with his ears, they immediately did the same thing, meaning the babies see Shrek as their role model, despite their neediness. Having almost erased them from existence, Shrek's heart thawed, and he decided he preferred life with them over his old life. Out of all these triplets, Felicia likes the color pink which she wears since her birth.

  • The triplets say their first words in Shrek Forever After and Scared Shrekless.
  • If the viewers watch the Dronkeys and ogre triplets carefully throughout the course of the franchise, one can see that they are aged perfectly in real time.
  • Felicia learned to talk before her brothers as she was talking clearly in Shrek Forever After while Fergus and Farkle weren't talking clearly until Scared Shrekless. This is a nod to a true fact in child psychology that states that young girls will likely learn how to talk before boys will.
  • In Shrek the Third, one of them used a piece of Shrek's earwax as a crayon similar to how Shrek used a piece of his earwax as a candle in Shrek, showing the true dedication the creators of these masterpieces have to their craft and continuity.
