Ferret is a hitman who works for Lord Farquaad in the second issue of the Shrek Dark Horse Comics. He is aided by his own henchman, Vesuvius.

Ferret is hired by Lord Farquaad's ghost to capture Shrek, and is helped by the strongman, Vesuvius. However, they are at battle with the Old Witch who is trying to cook and eat Shrek (along with Donkey). After several failed attempts, they eventually capture the ogre, but are quickly stopped by the Old Witch. She turns them into sheep forever, and are forced to follow Bo Peep after the events of the story.
