Parodiando (Parodying in English) was a television program that aired in Mexico from 2012 to 2015. It was a game show that has contestants impersonate various arts and sports in a competition.
Relation to Shrek[]
During its second season in 2013, one of the contestants, Ernesto Magos, did a spoof of Shrek while singing mariachi and party music. In the scene, Chueko (colored blue) travels to Lord Farquaad's castle to save the lovely Princess Brianna (mock of Fiona). However, he can't get past until he sings his heart out to the people in the audience. After two musical performances of the song "Cielito Lindo," he's informed by one of the guards that he is welcome into Farquaad's castle. However, he is told by another guard that the princess is in another castle.

- The featured song was "Cielito Lindo" and was interpreted with both a mariachi and fiesta approach.
- When the video was found by the Shrek meme community, Chueko was nicknamed "Drek"- a negative counterpart to Shrek.
- Other characters that can be spotted include the Big Bad Wolf, a Little Pig, a Blind Mouse, and Robin Hood.
- Despite Chueko yelling "Vamos Burro!", at the start of the sketch, he is only seen with a silent ironing board.
