“ | I pray that you take this favour as a token of my gratitude. | ” |
—Fiona to Shrek |
Fiona's Favour is a handkerchief that was once kept by Princess Fiona.
History[]
Shrek[]
While being rescued from the Dragon's Keep, Fiona gives Shrek her favour as a "token of her gratitude". Shrek, unsure of what to do with it, uses it as rag to wipe off his face and hands it back to Fiona. Before she can say anything, Fiona drops it out of shock after hearing the roar of Dragon. The favour is left on the ground after Shrek drags Fiona off.
Shrek Forever After[]
Shrek keeps the favour inside a drawer of his bedroom dresser. In the alternate universe, Shrek finds the favour on the floor of Fiona's room after returning to the Dragon's Keep. He takes it with him and tries to get Donkey to smell the favour in order to track its scent back to Fiona.
It later reappears in a flashback showcasing Fiona in her human form holding the favour in the Dragon's Keep. Night falls and she turns into her ogress form, still holding onto the handkerchief.
