Gary Trousdale is an animator and director at DreamWorks Animation. He both directed and performed the voice of Santa Claus in Shrek the Halls. Trousdale was also at the helm for Scared Shrekless and two other Halloween specials (Thriller Night and The Pig Who Cried Werewolf).
Trivia
- Before joining DreamWorks, Trousdale was an animator at Disney, eventually being promoted as director for several projects. Ironically, two of his films (Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame) served as inspiration for both themes within the Shrek films, and characters in spin-off novels and video games.
