Gina Shay (born January 14, 1972) is an American producer at DreamWorks Animation specializing in animated feature films.
Her multiple years of work in the animation field have afforded her much acclaim. In 2011, she received nominations for the Visual Effects Society Award for Outstanding Animation in an Animated Feature Motion Picture award thanks to her contributions for the 2010 film Shrek Forever After.
Aside from producing Shrek Forever After, she produced Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular, Puss in Boots: The Three Diablos, and the Trolls trilogy for DreamWorks. She also represented the Shrek crew on the reality show, Cake Wars, where she judged cakes inspired by the franchise in an episode celebrating the first film's 15th anniversary.
She will return as producer of the Shrek franchise with Shrek 5, which is expected to release in 2026.
Prior to producing Shrek Forever After, she worked at Paramount Pictures for multiple animated productions. These include line producer for South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, co-producer for Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (which ironically was up against Shrek for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature), and executive producer for The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
