Hades is a character who briefly appeared in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. He is the king of the Underworld in Greek mythology, the ruler of the dead, and husband of Persephone. Despite his popularity, he is rarely present in the original mythos due to his isolation.

In one of the storybook animations, he breaks the ground and emerges to bring his love interest Persephone into the Underworld. The goddess tries to resist, and hits his head in an act of self-defense. This doesn't phase him and he persists to try to drag her down.
He is rarely mentioned in the trivia questions, and is only brought up when detailing the two-thirds of the year he can spend with Persephone.
