Hamelin as seen in "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales"
Hamelin is a location that was depicted in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. It is the town the Pied Piper visited in order to rid it of all the vermin.

In one of the storybook animations, the town of Hamelin is seen in an establishing shot surrounded by hills and trees. The Pied Piper is then seen walking on a trail luring rats away with his music. As the story goes, the town would refuse to pay the Piper for his contributions, which led him to kidnap the children of Hamelin.
