Latifa Ouaou is an actress and producer best known for producing Puss in Boots and co-producing Monsters vs. Aliens. While at DreamWorks, she provided many additional voices throughout the Shrek franchise, as well as other projects including Shark Tale and Turbo. She is currently an executive producer at Illumination, having worked on The Grinch and Minions: The Rise of Gru.
Ouaou was slated to return as producer for Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, with Bob Persichetti as director. However in 2021, it was announced that the two had left the project, and were replaced by Mark Swift and Joel Crawford respectively. Despite this, she is still given a "special thanks" credit along with Persichetti.
