Long John Silver is a character who briefly appeared in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. He is from the classic novel, Treasure Island.

In one of the storybook animations, Long John Silver is seen sneaking up on Smollett, the captain of their ship. He whacks him on the head with a bottle, which signals a shipmate to hoist their skull and crossbones flag.
He is mentioned throughout various trivia questions, including his signature position as the cook of the ship. It is also brought up that he used to sail with Captain Flint, who was a pirate much like Silver.
