I will soon bring a class action lawsuit against Wikia for discrimination on thought, based on actions that have been committed on this private website by one or more administrators that have violated section 107 of the US Fair Use Act. This section says that criticism and comments are permitted and protected by the FCC and programs that fall under the DOJ. The banment and deleting of accounts for expressing a personal opinion and/or thought violates other sections protected by the FCC. I have contacted and agreed to terms with the Alder & Colvin law firm to bring on this suit. It will be filed in the San Francisco Court House with the presiding judge, his honorable Judge James Donato. I have brought this lawsuit on because of my personal banment. I am user 327IQ and I was personally attacked and discriminated for my personal beliefs. Expect to hear from the Alder & Colvin law firm by July 28th.
Freedom of speech refers to governments not silencing their citizens. Wikis run by Wikia/Fandom are considered private property that they allow access to and different rules apply.
"What I wish to see in the future is a Shrek movie with a restricted IQ rating of 300." — stated by the 327IQ account on March 6, 2018 at 01:29 UTC and repeated at 20:01. As most scales that measure intelligence quotients do not provide any ratings higher than 160 or 175 and the median for the general population is around 100, you yourself are advocating restricting who might be able to see the movie. Ratings in that same statement for the other movies would also prevent them from seeing them by that same standard, as the minimum IQ you are require is 140. Under the proposed standards, only 2% of the population would be eligible to watch the movie, an excessively harsh restriction.
Instead of attempting to reach a settlement through peaceful mediation, a threat of legal action has been stated. This indicates that intimidation and coercion is the goal, rather than restoring privileges. Use of a wiki run by Wikia/Fandom is a privilege, not a right.
I've noticed there are a few articles on this wiki that seem kind of useless with little to no information on them. I was wondering if you could some how delete them. Here are a few examples (you can probably find more if you look hard enough)
I am wondering why Shrek, the main protagonist of the franchise, is easily accessible to edit by new users and or unknown FANDOM users? Shouldn't his article, and quite possibly other main characers be protected from vandalism?
Just yesterday, I discovered a certain user putting the entire script of the Bee Movie on Shrek's page. Who does that?
And I also recently discovered that I, as content moderator, can't actually block/ban users, only the admin can. So, should I just report the bad users to you?
Anonymous users cannot edit the Shrek or any other page because I have activated a feature that requires all contributors on the Shrek Wiki to be logged in. This means unknown FANDOM visitors will not be allowed to edit pages or participate in comments, Forum or Message Wall without logging in. Although they can still create a Wikia account to join our community.
Also, I should have specified the tools that you were granted when I promoted you to Content Moderator so that’s my fault. Content Moderators are users who have these tools:
Deleting and moving protected pages
Deleting and moving files
Undeleting pages and files
Protecting and unprotecting pages
Patrol pages if our community will one day have the RecentChanges patrol feature enabled
I've been trying for the past few days now but whenever I try to change my profile picture i get this message: "We're sorry, there was an error processing your request. Please try again later." Any idea what the problem is?
Go to User Rights then click the "Advanced" tab then scroll down to "Users and Rights" then "block user". Please note that rule punishments may vary based on the severity of the issue and past violations done by the suspected user. Considering this is his first time, go easy on him.
Probably the articles on Shrek (character) and Shrek, due to an influx of "Shrek Is Love, Shrek Is Life" memes.
I feel that a lot of articles could be improved and/or made more informative on the wiki, since it suffers from a combination of low maintenance and lots of kids editing. As a Shrek fan who grew up with the series, I'd love to improve the quality of the wiki to try to bring it closer to the quality of wikis such as Wookieepedia.
