Part of the Castle's interior
The Prince Charming Castle is a castle located in Duloc Hills. It only appears in the Shrek X-Box game and its GameCube port, Shrek Extra Large (as the "Crown Prince Castle").
Overview[]
In the X-Box version, Shrek must fry weed rats, beat up an early incarnation of Prince Charming, and help framed prisoners escape the castle dungeons. It's almost no different in the GameCube port, but the Prince immediately becomes friendly after a talk with the princess, and tells Shrek to set things right with the palace. Soon after, he orders Shrek to travel to his summer castle and slay the Blue Dragon.
The castle itself is littered with jesters and prisoners wandering the palace halls. Giant weed rats also fester the area, with many corridors giving them freedom to explore the castle. The Princess also has her own chamber, while the Prince enjoys a nice throne room where he tortures his jesters. An executioner also roams around, trying to keep the prisoners' spirits down so they don't escape.
