Puss Dos is a less intelligent magic clone of Puss in Boots from The Adventures of Puss in Boots.
Appearance[]
Puss Dos is a ginger tabby cat with light green eyes and more reddish-brown stripes running around his back, limbs, tail, and around his head. Unlike Puss in Boots, he wears a paper hat with a small leaf/feather instead of Puss' normal black, broad-brimmed leather hat, folded on the left side, with a fluffy yellow feather.
Personality[]
Puss Dos is very simple, liking happy stuff like food, or hugging. He is very dumb, often falling over and running into things. He lacks Puss' skill and instead has loyalty and enthusiasm. He's quite chaotic, often walking off and doing his own thing, and lacking any common sense. However, Puss Dos is kind, often saying “Hello!” to inanimate objects.
The Adventures of Puss in Boots[]
After accidentally promising to ride for two teams in the town's horse race, Puss in Boots with the help of Artephius, creates a clone of himself to ride on the other team. After the spell, Puss Dos is revealed to be a not-quite-accurate version of Puss, being clumsy and much dumber than the original. During a brief training period before the race, it's shown their contrasting natures, and Puss grows impatient with each failed attempt at coaching his clone. On the day of the race, in a surprising twist, Puss Dos wins the race with his horse crossing the finish line before Puss' horse.
He appears again in the episode "Too Many Cats" first appearing trying to practice Puss' signature moves. Later, after Puss in Boots gets exiled, he follows him into the desert, before helping him trick Evil Puss and restoring Puss to his rightful place.
After his first appearance in the series, Puss Dos continued to make brief cameos, often having a few lines of dialogue before not appearing for a while.
