Scimitar is a character from The Adventures of Puss in Boots. He is an evil sword that can take possession of whoever wields him.

His origins are unknown.
Scimitar has a blood red paint, which gives him a demeaning appearance. On top of that, he constantly makes snarky remarks, alongside death threats towards Puss and the citizens of San Lorenzo.

- He is the only character in the Shrek/Puss in Boots franchise to be explicitly violent.
- Despite being evil, his biggest fear is the dark.
