Shrek: Treasure Hunt is a party video game for the original PlayStation. It was developed by Code Monkeys and published by TDK Mediactive in 2002. Digital Illusions was going to develop the game, but were preoccupied with the production of Shrek Extra Large. It focuses on Shrek searching for food and drinks for a picnic in the swamp for Princess Fiona before she arrives.
Official Description[]
The food, drink and picnic equipment have been stolen by the three blind mice and you need them back. You can travel across beautiful and varied landscapes with stunning visuals and tricky enemies! You will have a blast of a time with Shrek(tm) treasure hunt!
Overview[]
Despite being a party game, there are platforming sections where the player controls Shrek. These act as hubs where you collect various items to unlock mini-games. Various animals also act as enemies, but provide no damage and when in contact, cause Shrek to fall over.
