Skeletons are a deadly paranormal species occasionally found in spin-off media of the Shrek series. They first appeared in the Shrek X-Box game as enemies that could only be stopped by playing music poles that force them to dance. The skeletons also appeared in its remake, Shrek Extra Large.
They appeared once again in an issue of the Shrek comic book series as a part of a gang of monsters led by the Headless Horseman.
