The Sun is an entity seen in the Shrek X-Box game and its GameCube port, Shrek Extra Large.
Shrek video games[]
The Sun looms over Mother Goose Land, smiling with closed relaxed eyes. It doesn't do much, and is purely a cosmetic addition to the level. However, when Shrek strikes the town's clock, the sun immediately sets with the Moon taking its place.
It appears again, in the GameCube port, having the same functions as the X-Box version.

- In the storybook openings for Shrek 2 and Shrek Forever After, a sentient sun is illustrated, but it is not the same entity.
