Part of Sweetsville seen in Shrek: Reekin' Havoc

Sweetsville is a location in the TDK Shrek video games spanning across most of the titles. It was the main location in the game, Shrek Extra Large.

Shrek on X-Box/Shrek Extra Large[]

In Shrek on X-Box, Sweetsville is a part of Duloc Hills. Two parts of its land are featured, which are the Industrial Park and the Molasses Sewers. In the former, Shrek helps restore the machinery and beats up the perpetrators to prevent any workers from getting attacked. In the latter, the evil Ice Cream Queen is trying to sabotage all of Sweetsville by covering it with molasses- giving her the "sweetest kingdom in all of Sweetsville." Shrek must stop her by attacking her ice cream guards, and relieving the pressure of the pipes by turning the valves back on. He then fights the Ice Cream Queen, and saves Sweetsville.

In Shrek Extra Large, Sweetsville plays a much bigger role in the story. The Wicked Ice Queen has taken over the entire land of Sweetsville, causing candy sales to go down, and all confections to be scarce. This was accomplished by freezing all of the pipes and machinery, stopping production of the sweets commonly produced. The majority of the missions set in the land in the X-Box version remains the same; except reworked to fit the new storyline.

Shrek: Reekin' Havoc[]

The Ghost of Lord Farquaad possesses the Pied Piper, and uses his body to attract hoards of mice to eat the city of Sweetsville. Fiona ventures through the area to defeat Humpty Dumpty, save Hansel, Gretel, and the Gingerbread Man, and release Farqauaad's ghost from the Pied Piper. Along the way she fends off various toy eggs and the mice eating the gingerbread houses.
