The Bear is a character who briefly appeared in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. He is from the fairytale "Snow White and Rose Red."

In one of the storybook animations, the Bear is witnessing Snow White and Rose Red's encounter with a wicked dwarf. After Snow White cuts off the wicked dwarf's beard, the Bear climbs down a tree and smacks the dwarf across his head, knocking him out.
One of the trivia questions makes reference to his background as a prince who turned into a bear. He is also described to be a very grateful individual, especially in response to the sisters' hospitality towards him. He also has a rhyme that he teaches the girls when they care for him. "Snow White and Rose Red, Don't beat your lover dead"
