The Beast in "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales"
The Beast is a character who appeared briefly in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. He is from the French fairytale, "Beauty and the Beast".

In one of the storybook animations, the Beast is seen eating a dead bird whole. Beauty peeks in, horrified at the sight. He burps, and lets out a smile.
His tragic background of being cursed by a sorceress for his shallow nature is brought up in some trivia questions. His impending doom was also foretold to Beauty in a dream, which prompts her to get closer to Beast.

It is mentioned that the Beast uses a nice kennel and runs around in Beauty's garden at a "glittering palace" in Far Far Away.
