The Count of Monte Cristo is an adventure novel written by Alexandre Dumas. The story was depicted through a storybook animation and several trivia games in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game.
Basic overview[]
Framed for a crime he didn't commit, Edmond Dantès escapes the clutches of the jails of Monte Cristo and gets revenge on all who wronged him.
Storybook Animation[]
On the island of Monte Cristo, the count, Fernand Mondego, is standing near the shore. In the background, Edmond Dantès swiftly escapes and lands into the ocean. He peeks through some rocks until suddenly jumping out of the sand behind the count. Dantès pokes the count's rear with his fencing sword, thus embracing his title of the Count of Monte Cristo.
