The Cruel Stepmother is the stepmother of Cinderella and the mother of Doris and Mabel.
She hasn’t made any appearances in the Shrek franchise, although she was mentioned throughout the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game.

- The magic mirror does not mention Cinderella's stepmother and refers to Doris and Mabel as the "two evil sisters". This could be a potential reference to the pantomime variant of Cinderella which can sometimes have the stepmother absent completely and suggests that the stepsisters are actually biological relatives of Cinderella.
