Oh, dear!

–The Fairy Godmother

The Fairy Godmothers are three fairies who appear in the first Shrek film. They are based on the three fairies from Disney's Sleeping Beauty.

Scared of Shrek.

The Fairy Godmothers are exiled along with other fairytale creatures to Shrek's swamp, after possibly being sold to Lord Farquaad by Sleeping Beauty. While taking refuge in the swamp, they are frightened by Shrek's rage and fly back to their tent. However, the three later cheer for Shrek and Donkey on their journey to Duloc while flying and waving.

At the end of the film, the Fairy Godmothers are seen at Shrek and Fiona's wedding. The one dressed in pink uses her wand to turn the Three Blind Mice into two white horses and a carriage rider. She also turns an onion into a carriage for the newly weds to ride off to their honeymoon.
