Widow-Maker as seen in "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales"
Widow-Maker is a character who briefly appeared in the "Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales" DVD game. She is based on the infamous horse who was tamed by the tall tale legend, Pecos Bill.
Shrek: Totally Tangled Tales[]
In one of the storybook animations, Widow-Maker is bouncing across a rodeo field with Pecos Bill riding on her back. Off-screen, she lunges him off of her as she continues bouncing and huffing. The cowboy walks with a sore rear, annoyed at the horse.
Despite being male in the legends, Widow-Maker is referred to as a female in the DVD game. She is described as a deadly horse that no one could tame. Not even the "smack talkin'" Slue Foot-Sue could control the horse unlike Pecos.
Trivia[]
- In legend, Widow-Maker was said to have killed countless Texas residents prior to crossing paths with Pecos Bill.
