Zombie versions of various Shrek characters seen in Thriller Night
Zombies are the decaying bodies of deceased organisms, having been re-animated through supernatural means. Usually they can rise from their graves, either an underground coffin, or a tomb.
They have only been seen in Thriller Night, in which there are hoards of corpses of various Far Far Away civilians. Also among them are zombie versions of iconic characters seen throughout the franchise, including Lord Farquaad, Fairy Godmother, King Harold, Mongo, and others.
Appearance and Abilities[]
The zombies seen in the Shrek series are extremely dirty with baggy, dead eyes, and broken jaws. Unlike most depictions of zombies, they aren't actively decomposing, likely to keep child-friendly appearances as to not entirely frighten the audience.
In the Thriller Night short, they are shown to be rather slow with their pacing. However, if in direct communication with another mortal, they can turn them into a zombie as well.
